First night in Anchorage

Well, i am here!  I am staying in Anchorage tonight at the Quality Inn.  My first flight to Denver today was good, however my connecting flight from Denver to Anchorage was delayed by about an hour.  That wasnt very fun, but the plane made it here:)   In the morning I have to head back up to the Airport and catch a different plane to King Salmon, AK., followed by a tiny little float plane that will pick me up in King Salmon and take me out to the Lodge. :)  Cant wait to get out there and get to work :)  
My feelings right now... Hmmm.... I guess the best word to describe how I feel right now is, empty.  I really feel empty.   I have never in my life been totally on my own, I have always had a friend or family member traveling with me.   Missing my whole family and other people so so much!    My daddy and Brian took me to the Airport... and i am so glad they did . :)   I tried so hard not to cry when I left, but the harder I tried the more i cryed.  SO when I left Dad and Brian I only looked back twice.  haha  yeah i am a total nerd :)  
Anchorage is beautiful... the part that i am in right here by the airport reminds me tons of Estes Park Colorado.  Mtn town! :)   All in all i think I am really happy to be here.  Give me a week and I will be happy as a clam :)    Well, i really need to get to bed, i have and early morning :)
